The Tarqeem International Mushaira 2025 at PILAC, Lahore, was a grand celebration of Urdu poetry and literary brilliance. Presided over by Shahid Zaki (Sialkot), the event featured Malik Irfan (Dubai) as Guest of Honour and Shabbir Hassan (Lahore) as Guest of Distinction. The evening began with a graceful welcome by Maryam Shahzadi and was beautifully compered by Shadab Abbasi, whose engaging style kept the audience captivated.
Prominent poets — Ammar Iqbal, Sabahat Urooj, Soheel Sani, Shahbaz Nayyar, Raaz Ehtesham, Fayyaz Bostan, Aarb Hashmi, Tajammul Kazmi, Ahmed Abdullah, and Usama Andaleeb — presented their best work to an appreciative Lahore audience.
Hosted by Adnan Munawar and Ahmed Ali Kaif, the event stood out for its seamless organization, vibrant participation, and poetic excellence — a memorable addition to Lahore’s rich literary tradition.
Tarqeem UAE, in collaboration with Sharaf Exchange, hosted a truly memorable evening where the magic of words captivated every heart.
Held on 23rd August 2025 at the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah, the grand literary gathering brought together renowned poets from the USA, Canada, Qatar, India, and Pakistan, who enthralled the audience with their soulful verses. The evening was further graced by the presence of leading businessmen and CEOs from across the UAE, adding prestige to the occasion.
The distinguished guests of honor were Dr. Sabahat Asim Wasiti and Mr. Shahabuddin, whose presence added immense value to the event. During the ceremony, eminent poets were presented with honorary shields along with Ajrak, a cultural symbol of Saraiki heritage, as a token of appreciation.
The Mushaira not only stood as a shining example of promoting Urdu literature but also carried a powerful message of cultural harmony and community unity.

An International Mushaira was held at Pakistan Social Center Sharjah on Sunday, 19th May 2024. The event was organised by Tarqeem, in collaboration with Chai Shai Restaurant and Cafe. The mushairah set a precedent, as this was Tarqeem's first international mushairah and was attended by renowned poets from India, Pakistan and the UAE.
Presided by poet, writer and critic, Akhter Usman and attended by Dr. Sabahat Asim Wasti, Syed Sarosh Asif, Naveen Joshi, Ashwani Mittal, Dilawar Ali Aazar, Ali Zeerak, Ehya Bhojpuri, Nilofer Afzal, Usman Habeeb, Ahmed Jahangeer, Malik Irfan, Abrar Umar and Muskan Syed Riaz.
The event concluded on a high note, with the audience visibly moved and enriched — a true testament to the enduring power of Urdu poetry. Tarqeem successfully set a new standard, not just for literary gatherings in the UAE, but for international poetic discourse.
